Peter O'Neil
Principal, Sales Consultant
Peter brings maturity, knowledge, enthusiam, and integrity to his clients. Since joining the Brock Harcourts Peter has achieved, the status of TOP 10 Salesperson in Brock Harcourts in South Australia and in the top 50 Australia wide. The O'Neil families settled at O'Neil Street, Panorama in the late 1890's and were involved in fruit and almond orchards until Peter's father sold his land in 1962 at an average price of $1600 per block. Peter was born in 1948 and was educated locally and later at Adelaide University. From 1967 to 1973 he was an in-flight engineer with the RAAF. He was based both in Australia and in Asia. In 1976 Blaik O'Neil Pty. Ltd. was born, opening the doors first at The Strand, Colonel Light Gardens and then moving in 1980 to its present location at 572 Goodwood Rd, Colonel Light Gardens, then adding the Property Management Division. This division has been operating for 10 years and has 300 properties. In November 2004 Peter O’Neil (Blaik O’Neil Pty Ltd) and Stephen Venn (Venn 1st National) joined and is now trading as Brock Harcourts Colonel Light Gardens. Peter since leaving the Air Force has lived locally and when possible relaxes at "The Farm" at Parawa,

Stephen Venn
Principal, Sales Consultant
Stephen Venn brings experience, enthusiasm, integrity and the energy to deliver in a demanding industry. Since 1987, Stephen has helped thousands of people move. After spending his formative years in Glenelg and attending St Leonards's primary, he moved with his family to the Mitcham area in 1968 and attended the local primary school at Westbourne Park. He was involved in local sports, scouts and other community activities, as he still is. After attending the local high school, he obtained an apprenticeship at the 'Advertiser' and served for 11 years. He learnt, amognst other things about advertising and the print media which has proven invaluable to his clients. After serving his 'real estate apprenticeship', he proudly joined his parents Bruce & Jill at the family business 'Bruce Venn Realty' in 1987. "I quickly learnt the value of honesty and empathy in a small business that has survived and thrived on word of mouth and repeat business." Stephen has since taken that step further by combining the family business with another long standing local real estate company, becoming Venn Blaik Pty Ltd, now proudly trading as Brock Harcourts Colonel Light Gardens. I have in excess of 30 years in Real Estate and have lived and sold property in the Mitcham and Unley Council areas over that time. I currently reside in a townhouse in Wilkinson Road Parkside. I had previously been involved in a partnership at Hyde Park and then operated as a sole trader for a period of twelve years from Hyde Park and Parkside. Other previous involvement has been with Agents Bernard Booth, Knight Frank and Woodham Biggs. I have conducted transactions in the Adelaide, Burnside, Mitcham, Norwood, Unley and Adelaide Hills Council areas over many years. Specifically handled were prestige properties, residential homes, townhouses, units and vacant land. I have also had experience with relocating older clients and handling deceased estates with sensivity and discretion. I am a life member of the Sturt Football Club and act in a voluntary capacity as a Director on the board.
